Exhaust Heat Shield

I just want to warn other Jeep owners about hitting puddles too fast. We had a lot of rain and I foolishly plowed through several inches of water at high speed. Afterwards, there was a rattle underneath the car and I discovered the water had pulled some of the exhaust heatshield off its mountings. I was able to repair it but I think that amount of water ballooned around under the car and was too much force for the heatshield. Pretty stupid of me but I want others to learn from my foolishness. Also, I thought afterwards, that amount of water could damage body panels or worse, get into the engine! I shall be more careful in future!
