Re: Extended warranty: Max Care VS. Added Care Plus

Caveat emptor. The point may have been made elsewhere on this site, but I don't believe that chryslerwarrantys.com is affiliated with the Chrysler Corporation. The first clue something is awry: the plural of warranty is misspelled! I'm neither an attorney nor an insurance specialist and I haven't pored over the fine print of their contracts, but I'd suspect that they are not providing a bona fide manufacturer's warranty.

They are a known dealer. The site isn't real "professional" but they are factory service contracts.

Not true at all, it's a site put up by a dealer in Wisconsin. The packet you get in the mail is from Chrysler Corp and I can look at my Lifetime Max care service contract that is associated with my VIN on the Chrysler owners website right now.

Re: Extended warranty: Max Care VS. Added Care Plus

*** UPDATE ***

On January 3rd I bought a new GC. I got the Max Care warranty. After reading this post I decided to try to upgrade my deal.

I sent an email to the business manager letting him know that I wanted the dealership to match what Chrysler was offering or I would cancel and he would get a charge back.
Originally I was sold the 5yr/70,000 for $1,310. I will now have 6yr/100,000. I only need to pay the difference of $148

Re: Extended warranty: Max Care VS. Added Care Plus

One of the dealers I've been working with originally quoted me $2,500.00 for the Lifetime Maxcare on a 2011 Overland. After telling him I could get it for $1,968.00 on the website, he said he'd match it!

Great research from all of you!

It appears that this is offered through numerous dealers as well as Chrysler directly.

So far, can't find a better price than the site linked here. (chryslerwarrantys.com)
