Field tech, has any one had a field tech out for their jeep

I have had a couple of calls from Chrysler the latest needing to make a apt with the dealer for a field tech, and I to meet at the dealer.i have already made arrangements with the dealer to leave them my car while I'm in California.i feel like Chrysler or some one is giving me the run around I make 1 apt then Chrysler calls with the need for me to call the dealer.

Re: Field tech, has any one had a field tech out for their jeep

There was a post yesterday or the day before about a trouuble and a field tech came out to troubleshoot. The feedback was terrible as the poster said the field tech had no knowledge of the particular system he was looking at. I will find the post for you.

Send it in. Let them look at it. It adds up to the total needed to start lemon law.

You have to play the game unfortunately. Dont mention Lemon law to them or anything until you have all your ducks in a row. Sometimes they will push back harder if you start too early..

Sorry I cannot find the post. But anyway that doesnt mean that field techs are incompetent it was just one persons story of how the person came out and didnt know the particular system he was sent to check on.
