Synthetic is so routinely common these days I wouldn't be too upset with dealer.
You wouldn't be upset with a dealer who lied to you, so he could make more money?

Can I interest you in a bridge in Brooklyn?

Maybe the dealer has a passion to use good oil so that in the long run the owner will have LESS issues and better MPG.

I think you're reading too much into it.

Re: First Oil Change - Dealer said synthetic required

A good dealer would not say it's required but that they recommend it and let the owner decide. Most of Today's synth and non synthetic oils perform well and with routine oil changes should be fine.

Guess you are too big for a Crossfire, lots better than the 67 Camaro I had back in the day. Mine has a 6 speed.

Does get synthetic.
