Anyway, proof the mythical "good dealer" exists and the EcoDiesel still doesn't
If you ever hear of the mythical good dealer for service in the Washington DC area please let me know I have had bad experiences continually with various dealer service departments in this area. This is my first Chrysler product so we will se how it goes. I believe it has more to do with the area, people here seem to come and go quickly and just don't give a crap. Where as my grandmother who lives in a small town in Pennsylvania gets phenomenal service and has for years, she deals with the same people every time and they know her and care about the work they do. I am a pretty laid back guy not overly anal or particular but just want a half decent job done when I pay money for it. I know a good bit abut cars but also know the limits of what can realistically be done in a home garage. I cringe with the thought of having to take it in for something and it shouldn't be that way.

maybe we should also look at "Member Recommended" dealer service departments. No reason not to?

That is a good Idea, I have plenty of dealers to chose from within a few miles of where I live but I would gladly drive 30 for a good one.
