Got a call from the Service dept. (not from the Manager) at about 5:00PM last night, and the rep told me the following:
1) The new clearbra was installed, and after inspection it looks perfect...awesome.
2) Somehow they were able to overnight the replacement air bag module from the assembly line, it's now installed, and no MILs are coming up. In addition, the drivers plastic seat back was replaced (original one started to gap on top)...again awesome!
3) My Jeep has been fully dealer prepped & cleaned again, and they filled up the gas tank...by now I'm hyperventilating from all the good news, be still my beating heart!
So he ends with "Come get it this Saturday if you want"...the smile on my face grows even larger, but then I remember the conversation the Service Manager and I had earlier in the week about Chrysler not saying no to my request that NAV gets activated on my 8.4A in compensation for all my troubles, so I say to the rep "What about the NAV activation?" and the rep replies:
"The Service Manager never mentioned that to me"
But the rep he did say that possibly his Manager (who wasn't in yesterday) might not have known that my Jeep was repaired so quickly. So we left it as me not picking up my Jeep until Monday when he would have had the chance to talk to his boss about the NAV activation.
