First service

Hi, My first post-Going in for my first service next week, anything I should know ?

I will be getting an oil and filter change as well.

Should I ask for all the new TSB'S or updates to be done or is this what they do, as I can't see what else they would be doing as they don't do oil and filter as part of this free first service.

There will be some small issues to look as well.

Thanks- Loving my new Jeep GC Overland diesel.

Your dealership should see all available TSBs for your vehicle and they should take care of that there while you're enjoying free wifi and sipping a latte.

Re: First service

They SHOULD do them as they come up on their computer when they put in your VIN. The only item that showed up on my April build was the recall and the radio update. I asked for and got the ones for HVAC on remote start, and the air suspension updates. I even took copies to make sure they could look them up and prove my truck was within the build date and model. See here for a list. Jeep Grand Cherokee WK2 - Grand Cherokee Service Bulletins and Recalls

Re: First service

Dealers only do RRT's automatically the regular TSB's are only done with a complaint about the issue. The radio updates and the transmission updates are RRT's so those the should do when the vehicles come in for service.

Re: First service

Thanks everyone of your replies.

Not sure how to thank officially - a little lost to say the least.

Cheers
