I don't understand why they can't get this right. I got the second update done Saturday morning. It seems better but I still get the occasional clunk or bump going up or down. I'm very disappointed. A few minutes ago I felt like going right to Toyota and getting anything else.

Keep in mind everyone that the transmission needs to relearn... judge the update after it has been in place for a few weeks, not the day or so afterwards

Didn't the flash specifically direct the techs not to erase the adaptives? The further I drive the clunkier mine gets.

Correct, so you are going to tell me for sure they did not do this... Often this is an old habit to rest this during a map update.

Plus, even if they did not reset it, it will NEED to relearn based on the new shift maps.

I am just saying give it a few days before judging, that was based on what some knowledgeable people said. Not even saying it will be any better at all but simply putting forth the information as I received it.

Re: FLASH: TRANSMISSION SHIFT ENHANCEMENTS (vehicles with 3.6L engine)

I take my 2014 V6 Limited 4x4 to the dealership tomorrow (9/18) to get this transmission reflash (as well as a whole bunch of other flashes/updates), first oil change (at 5000 miles...switching to synthetic), and tire balance (all four).

I'll let everyone know how it goes.

Fingers crossed!

Re: FLASH: TRANSMISSION SHIFT ENHANCEMENTS (vehicles with 3.6L engine)

Just called my dealer to make an appointment to have this and the HVAC flash done next week. They tried to tell me Chrysler's system wasn't showing that RRT 13-066 applied to my vehicle even though they acknowledged that 13-056 was applied to my vehicle in August after the first TSB came out. Sigh. I told them I'm bringing it anyways so they can check for available flash updates since I want the HVAC flash anyways. I'm assuming that Chrysler's system just doesn't have the RRT documentation yet...

Over 100mi since the update...sick of complaining about the same things over and over...Chrysler seems to be preoccupied with paddle shifting quality and not everyday downshifting to a stop light...

Re: FLASH: TRANSMISSION SHIFT ENHANCEMENTS (vehicles with 3.6L engine)

I am looking to confirm what Chrysler is telling me. I have been having a hell of a time with hard shifting in the mornings, especially 2nd to 3rd until the trans reaches about 130 deg. The guy who I've been talking to at corporate and my service manager (whom I trust far more) are telling me that this a software issue and that I'm not the only one, simply I am more sensitive to the shifting issue. I do have a persnickety nature to me so before I put much more effort into this, is anyone else having hard 2-3 up-shifts in the mornings? Software problems I can wait for (although it seems Chrysler has the updates for the cars on the line a month before they release it to cars on the road) but hardware issues that will not resolve themselves I have no patience for.
