Most automatic transmissions today have adaptive controls. They adapt the shift point to your driving for better and more efficient operation.

If your the only one having issues that would say that overall the quality is pretty good. It seems from your statement that you think everyone should be having problems? My 2014 overland is 8 months old and has been trouble free.

Quite a few people have had a lot of common problems.

Why would their be two rounds Transmission updates and a Recall for the Xmas Tree issue.

Why you even reading this thread if you are trouble free?

Even though I'm quite happy with my limited and fairly few issues. I think Jeep does need to step up the QA department (or listen to them, which is often the problem).

Do I have to be having the problem to read the thread? I don't have the V6 which has most of the complaints. I am also aware of the other issues out there. My comments were in response to what the poster had stated.

Am I the only one having issues? guess you only read threads you want to post meaningless remarks to, please go read the other threads about the EVIC going dark, lights coming on the cluster for no reason, gaps in the tail gate assembly, weirdness on the HU, problems with automated headlights, this transmission issue, tailgate remote opening not working correctly, misaligned steering wheel, shall i go on?

I do not think everyone should be having issues, I think the quality department and whatever other department at Chrysler is supposed to handle the delivery of a trouble free vehicle (as much as possible for every product has some sort of issue) should be doing a better job, period, end of discussion!

If you have a perfectly working vehicle be thankful and enjoy, but do not put me down or put a different meaning on my posts because i am having all sorts of problems and I want to vent. This is the last I will say so go ahead and flame away, next time I will go Japanese built.

This was your post. Maybe it doesn't mean what you say?

There is new update for 2014 GC with 3.6 engine. (Date 10/12/2013) The release note says 1-2/2-1 shift improvement. I hope this version works..
