Dealer said the RRT and TSB show up as being done in August so my vehicle doesn't show up as needing it. I lobbied for it to be brought in a hooked up to the computer. Am I wasting my time or will the update show?

It sounds like they are on the ball. They are supposed fix any outstanding issues before applying the update.

I think it's great they found the issue before you did.

You are not wasting your time. Have them show you that Witech system says it needs nothing before leaving. I think that's the only way to tell electronically.

I just got mine done and I had an update in September.

It looks VERY promising so far. Still have lots of conditions to see how it performs. But it looks really good right now.

Re: FLASH: TRANSMISSION SHIFT ENHANCEMENTS (vehicles with 3.6L engine)

I had revision C done a week ago & it has made a HUGE difference! The Jeep is a pleasure to drive now; the other Flash's helped but this one is the answer! Dave

Hi MSWLogo: Change in MPG? Never occurred to me; guess I will have to start looking at that in the coming days and I will let you know. The way the car drives now I don't really care (I do but..) but I will start checking it. Dave

Re: FLASH: TRANSMISSION SHIFT ENHANCEMENTS (vehicles with 3.6L engine)

Best way to describe update so far is I feel like I'm driving it instead of it driving me.

I'm 1 of them! Super harsh slamming from 1-2 & 2-1 and wouldn't go into gear. That was @ 4k

Re: FLASH: TRANSMISSION SHIFT ENHANCEMENTS (vehicles with 3.6L engine)

Received the update about 1 week ago and wow night in day difference on shift quality . I hated the way it shifted before and now feels like a normal vehicle . Hopefully stays this way .

TSB states Rev c for those built on or before Nov 12. Does this mean that those built Nov 13 or later will have all current updates? What has been the experience with other updates?
