Just had my Rev D Flash completed and it's like I just drove a brand new car off the lot (fresh wash and all)! The tech is a buddy of mine and showed me the wiTech report, I wasn't even aware Rev D had come out. This fix has me shifting smoother than silk. I'm so glad this is fixed, I was starting to dread touching my gas pedal.

Re: FLASH: TRANSMISSION SHIFT ENHANCEMENTS (vehicles with 3.6L engine)

I brought mine to the dealer yesterday for the recall, radio, and tranny updates. The service slip or whatever I got when I picked it up said N58 for the recall, RRT 13-071 for the radio, but did give a RRT or TSB # for the tranny. All it said was reprogram TCM and reprogram drive train control. I had the first two tranny flashes done and eventually went back to the old ways but this new one is flawless so far. Hopefully it was revision D and not C. I might have to call to confirm which one they applied.

Was your write up from the dealer two pages long? My RRT/TSB call numbers were on page 1 but the info for what was done was on page two. I know that sounds like a dumb possibility but I did the same thing when I looked, it just said the reprogram for the TCM and drivetrain control. When I checked the first page that was when I realized the 13-xxx call number was located on a different page than the actual action taken. Good luck finding it.

I did Rev B a few months ago. Rev D sounds promising. Is there a link to the TSB for Rev D ?

Latest tranny flash on the WK2 TSB site is still 21-007-13 REV. C. Anyone have a copy of the new TSB they can post?

Re: FLASH: TRANSMISSION SHIFT ENHANCEMENTS (vehicles with 3.6L engine)

I had mine done mid December. The receipt lists:
99CHZRRT13-066 FLASH SHIFT ENHANCE
Does anyone know what flash I got?
Regardless, I think it was a big improvement. This is from a Jan. build. Especially noticeable is the downshifts in sport mode, much improved.

I also had some work done today: invoice reflects "RRT 13+066", 1819059F for the TCM update.

Unsure if this is version C or D but I still had the clunk around 5mph from 1st to 2nd gear.

Re: FLASH: TRANSMISSION SHIFT ENHANCEMENTS (vehicles with 3.6L engine)

Just came back from dealership and got rev. c (was rev. a). They actually updated DTCM, PCM, and TCM to the latest versions. Now the clunk from a stop completely disappeared. Will assess it more in a couple of days.

No, just one page. It just says tranmission control reprogram module and reprogram drive train control. I still have to call the dealer to confirm what they did.

not_too_shabby has a brilliant future
Is the sport mode shifting when the car is cold any better? It seems really abrupt even after the first transmission update.

I gave the dealership the version C TSB when I brought it in. The paperwork reflects RRT 13066 TCM update. I was hoping it would address the clunk just getting going from initial startup but it is still there.
