My service writer is pretty cool, I asked him to make sure it was rev c. When i called him, I made sure he checked to have the updates, so I would not waste my time. He confirmed and he was not even aware of the rev dated 12/18

Nice man. A quality service writer is a rare commodity these days.

I have had the latest update since it was released and I am now starting to see the slow bogged down acceleration

They had to completely reinitialize the module once installed, some extensive 15-20 miles driving exercise as well as software programming. Now the truck shifts perfectly up and down the gears. The only caveat is that there is still a little more abrupt shift into 1st when coming to a stop than I would like, but they attribute this to the Variable Valve timing keeping the revs slightly higher than ideal for this downshift.....sounds a little fishy to me.
I am going to dealer Wed as my 4x4 2014 3.6 ltd. locked up yesterday and held everything in 5th gear 3K rpm until I stopped and tuned off engine then restarted. When locking up I heard a clunk and neither shifter, sport, or paddles worked. Dealer says my vin shows no recalls but I see a Dec 18 Transmission and transfer case # 21-007-13 Rev C. on another thread. Although I have 4x4 the Note says Automatic Transmission codes 845RE. How do FIND my code?

More than likely more than a firmware update. Sounds like Valve Body.

Re: FLASH: TRANSMISSION SHIFT ENHANCEMENTS (vehicles with 3.6L engine)

Week 3.5 update on latest tranny update: Still going strong with no noticeable throwback to bad behaviors. Does this mean it'll stay this way from now on? I hope so, because it drives great! Still getting a slight clunk when in first gear, easing off the gas and pressing down again while it shifts, but that's about it. Dowshifting lag, downshifting smoothness, all seem to be under control.

Common bullshit response from the three dealerships I've been to in my area. What they REALLY mean is don't bother us with TSB reflash requests.

I had to make a call to Chrysler Customer Care and file a formal complaint first, and have them talk to the third dealership before I was able to get my TSB reflashes done. CCC even reimbursed me for the rental since the dealership that did the work didn't supply loaners.

The good news is my tranny has been shifting like a champ since getting the latest reflash...best it's ever shifted since driving my new Jeep off the dealers lot. Smooth as butter!

Re: FLASH: TRANSMISSION SHIFT ENHANCEMENTS (vehicles with 3.6L engine)

I just got my Jeep back from the dealer. They flashed the PCM to revision C. I have only driven it in ECO mode today but it was very smooth. The sifting was improved. However, I still have one issue. I wonder if its even worth messing with. While moving through the gears in manual mode with the paddle shifters, most gears transition smoothly. The shift from 2nd to 3rd is considerably rougher. I think I am just going to raise this issue with the dealer when I take it in for its oil change in 2k miles, but would this be a problem with the software or something else? I figured I'd get some thoughts on here. Thanks.
