Front end feels very loose with thuds

I've had my 4x2 Laredo X 5.7L WK2 now for two weeks (700 miles) and all of a sudden today my front end felt very loose and sloppy. I am experiencing thuds and knocks in the suspension only up front when going over speed bumps, up my drive way and small dips in the road. The car also shakes back and forth like a mad man is on the outside rocking it back and forth when I go over speed bumps at slow speed. I have an appointment on wednesday to have some of the TSB's done anyway so I'm going to have them check the suspension for loose bolts etc... Anyone experience anything like this?

It's tracking straight just feels like shit going over bumps and driving through the neighborhood and parking lots.

Re: Front end feels very loose with thuds

Check your tire pressures and lug nut torque, if they are good then get back to the dealer, something is loose. This is not an alignment issue. My 4X4, which shares the same parts as you, is rock solid over speed bumps and rough roads.

Glad it was a simple fix.
