Front Passenger Side shaking when slowing over rough roads

I searched around and couldn't find anything really explaining this so I wanted to see if it is normal. When I am slowing down over rough roads it almost feels like something is going to rattle itself loose in the front passenger side of the car. Has anybody else had this happen? It isn't terrible and maybe its just a characteristic of the car but coming from a car that was solid as a rock over bumps its a bit unnerving to feel the shuttering over small bumps. I just got the car and only have about 500 miles on it, its a 2011 Overland 4x4 with the V8.

-Thanks

If you could give more of a desription is this a noise or just a feeling? Through the whole vehicle or in the steering ?

It actually feels like it is mostly concentrated to the front passenger side with a little feedback through the steering. Definitely more than just a noise, you can feel it shutter (a term I hesitate to use because this is obviously different from the more common hemi-shutter)

Re: Front Passenger Side shaking when slowing over rough roads

Quick update here... took it into the dealer this morning, just got a call and they said the skidplate that protects the transmission was missing some bolts so it was rattling against the bottom of the car... Nice to get a new car that is missing bolts, hope it isn't missing anything else.
