Fuel Automatic Shut-Off very problematic

I've been noticing this in my 2014 V6. I'd say it works fine about 80% of the time. However, at various gas stations (usually Costco) it will have problems with the auto shut-off. It usually starts shutting off at around 3/4 full and I'll have to constantly pump it and turn on the ignition to check to see where the fuel level is.

Is this at all a common issue possibly related to the capless fuel filler design?

Some people have reported the problem is helped by pulling the nozzle out a bit and retrying. I have success in my Prius by flipping the nozzle upside down. As odd as that sounds, it has worked EVERY time.

The problem IS likely with the pump, not your Jeep, but that's no less annoying when it happens. I've not had a problem with my diesel so far.
