Funny thing happened with my 14

I have a 2014 5.7 Hemi LTD. Around the 2500 mile mark a strange clicking sound started when I turned the vehicle to the right. It was very noticeable so I took my brand new vehicle to the stealership. I'm thinking that theres no way this could be an issue with the CV, U joint, or hub bearing. The service guy and I get in the vehicle and it starts doing its poppin' thing again as we go over bumps. So I have a good laugh thinking a brand new vehicle shouldn't be breaking but whatever, I suppose it can happen to anyone. I leave it there, at 8 am, dont hear anything until 3 pm when they tell me that they dont hear the sound when the car is up on the lift. But its there when the car is on load with full weight. So they decide to put microphones on the car and drive it around town to determine the issue. No, im not joking, they put microphones on it. I had a good laugh but whatever. So they of course dont find anything with the microphones and finally look at the suspension. Couldn't find anything wrong with it, tightened everything down and the clicking went away. But now the brakes squeal like a boy with a pretty mouth. Oh and the voice commands no longer work either. I just press the VR button and nothing happens, it just beeps and doesn't listen to anything I say. So there's that too. Wont give me the option to reply texts by voice either, just grayed out, even with the vehicle in park. I hope that they can fix both issues relevantly quickly. Never had these issues with my other Jeep or any Japanese or German cars I have/had.

All brakes make a slight noise. They probably left a micrphone on one of the calipers and have it hooked up through your stereo. The loud squeal caused the lady in the dash to go deaf, so you will have to speak louder if you want her to hear you.

Have a happy Labor Day.

Re: Funny thing happened with my 14

Well I got it back and guess who is getting new brakes and a new radio? This guy. On the way over to the dealer the van driver asked what I was having done and I gave him the skinny. He was completely not surprised. Apparently tons of WK2s are having issues. He see's plenty of customers dropping them off for work.
Anyway, apparently I will be getting a new brake upgrade with a different pad setup and a new 8.4 that fully works. Long story short, if you have brakes that squeak very loudly, there is a solution from the dealer.

There is a TSB for the brake problem. And the 8.4 problems are well known.

Would you mind posting your vehicle build date for me when you get a chance? If you don't have the paperwork handy, the date should should be on the inside of your driver's door jamb. Thanks!
