Hello, After going through the post and some other over other forums, I concluded:
The TIPM has some faulty issues with relays. In my case, the fuel pump relay is faulty.
To solve the problem, I have to follow one of these solutions:
1- Jumpering M25 with M7 (TIPM Bypass) e.g. TIPM Bypass/Test Device ::: Vertical Visions
Cost: 20 usd
2- Use an external relay e.g. http://www.verticalvisions.com/docum...1308000399.pdf
Cost 200-300 usd with car dealer
3- replace the whole TIPM with the new one 68244870AA
Cost 1000-1500 with car dealer
1- How can I be 100% sure it's fuel pump relay problem ?
2- Which one of the above option you recommend me ?
3- If I purchase the new TIPM (68244870AA) .. can I just replace it with my self (or with a help of a mechanic, not the car dealer) ?
or I have to go to the company for re-programming or something like that ?
4- recall P54 is for this issue, is it only for 2011 models ? what about 2012, any idea ?
