Gear oil leak after Spacer lift install

So, I had mentioned in another thread that I had found some concerning issues while the front wheels were off my Jeep while installing splash guards. The shop that installed my spacer lift had cut a couple of brake clips and replaced them with zip ties... The other issue is now, of course, gear oil leaking from the passenger-side differential. It's down onto my skid plate and has spread rapidly. I am thinking the tech installing was perhaps reaming too hard on that passenger side front axle and damaged a seal, albeit just enough for me to not notice it after the first few days of the work being done. 1200 miles later and this is what I'm dealing with... The shop that did the job saifd they will look at it but is not admitting any wrong doing. They are trying to tell me these things fail all the time and that maybe the leak is from a pressure release valve in the differential leaking the gear oil... interesting as it didn't seem to leak at all the first 29K miles i have had it, not within the last 1200 miles i have this issue...... Wondering if i should just go to the dealer and have try to have them fix it under my 5 yr bumper to bumper warranty....

If your still under the 3yr 36k mile warranty, why not bring it to Jeep. Tell them you noticed it wet/damp. Its not a maintenance issue so either its naturally defective or the shop did it. If Jeep says it was caused due to prior spacer lift work, then go to the shop with your findings and have it fixed by them.
