Re: Getting Nervous

Definitely a variable experience. Sorry you don't have a decent dealer near you. One small point. Most of the TSB's state "If customer..." so dealers usually wont perform a TSB if you just walk in and request it. You have to have a symptom. It may be a stupid technical but I think that applies everywhere.

Like I said previously I had a terrible experience with my previous vehicle and dozens of legitimate TSBs that mandated the owner take corrective action. I think at times we are too demanding in approaching the dealer and stating do TSB x, y, and z when in reality the car is not demonstrating or may never demonstrate that issue. The Toyota acceleration issue cones to mind.

+1

Many of the TSBs state "If the customer complains of the symptom". Some folks think that just because it's there, they have to have it.

Some feel it is so important they'll fight to get them done, even right before they trade the car in.

Re: Getting Nervous

All,

Have had my 2014 JGC Summit for about a moth and a half and have 1500 miles on it. It is excellent, everything works exceedingly well, and we really like it. Thought I would up date you all. My first Summit was DOA. The new one is excellent so far.

FYI...
