Like oneframe said, they will turn off and preserve your battery. My kids leave the lights on all the time and I don't notice till the next day when I start up the vehicle. Have yet to have the battery die because of those lights being left on overnight or longer.
If for some reason you actually do manage to drain the battery, unlikely but you never know, the keyless fob is not really keyless!
You can release the tiny latch and take out the key. This will open the driver's door so you can open hood and jump start... The same key can come in handy to lock the glovebox then give the fob part to valet so they can't look at your registration/home address etc. who knows what else
