There may be stuff going on in the background but Jeep has neither acknowledged or addressed the problem.
Neither Jeep Customer Service or the dealer is acknowledging there is a problem other than to say that I have a one-off CV boot failure on the driver's side for which there is a backlog for parts.
According to both Jeep and my dealer, they are not aware of any other Jeep owners with similar issues/problems and believe my passenger side CV is perfectly fine.
