Say what? If the part number is the same it would imply it was NOT re-engineered but rather was simply a manufacturing error.

Got a call Today from the Tasmanian Dealer who went ahead and ordered new axles for me whilst I was still up on the big island, seems the axles will be turning up on Friday, they have me booked in for next Tuesday..... That didn't take as long as I thought it would, seeing as they were on back order and when I inquired last week they had no idea as to when they would be supplied.

Cheers

See....the issue wasn't that big of a deal after all....especially since it is a GREAT vehicle! All that worry and gnashing of teeth. LOL Guess I won't have to fly over and deliver your new axles for you! Enjoy your new ride!!!

Deadset Dan you have a damnfine positive attitude and I'm guessing a whole bunch of blue chip shares in Chrysler. LOL!!!!
Got to give Snuke his dues too.
The voice of reason along with his bent on the humorous.
To the Blokes I've had dialogue with, either on the internet or on the phone, THANKS.

There is three things that make this journey worthwhile for me.
1. The VEHICLE . (It exceeds my expectations on so many levels, I can look past some of the minor niggles and poor QC.)
2. Finding the right PEOPLE at the right DEALERSHIP.
3. YOU all and JEEPGARAGE

CHEERS

Cheers Red PeeKay, they (JA) certainly needed to. Let's face it, if their customer service /relations was anything like their ability to market the product, they'd be top of the charts.

What a great vehicle to drive, I'm just looking for any excuse to put some time in the cockpit. Awesome.

Cheers

Nope - don't own any shares (except maybe in a mutual fund if one of them owns it, dunno). Just have been happy with my 7 Jeeps is all.

Just took the JGC with new axles for a run 5kms out to 120k.The wife and I both agree it all feels good but may be pulling slightly more left. She drove it home 65kms.
On the camber it pulls left but sit it in the middle of the road and she stays there.
The tech up in Sydney said they can be tricky to get right.
At the moment I'm happy to have the axles sorted.
Cheers
