On the camber it pulls left but sit it in the middle of the road and she stays there.
The tech up in Sydney said they can be tricky to get right.
At the moment I'm happy to have the axles sorted.
Bravo Rocksfly, happy for you. That must give you some of the peace-of-mind you have been hoping for.
Glad I didn't take a bet with you that my vehicle would have replacement axles before yours.
I was lied too by the salesman/dealership, they did not order replacement axles for my vehicle. My plan to go to the Birdsville races (not interested in horses, just the atmosphere and beer!, and the chance to get to know the Jeep on gravel and corrugations) is dead as I will not go without the new axles fitted. I have been told weeks/months rather than days for replacements to be available for me.
Deeply pissed off at myself for believing they did the right thing and as written and agreed on my sales paperwork. The salesman no longer works at the dealership, not authorised to make that agreement, ....
I don't have the fight in me. I'm too busy with work to dedicate the time and effort required. I'll just have to accept the fact that I was shafted (pun intended).
Happy travels fellow Jeepers.
Note: For the non-Aussie readers of the forum; The Birdsville racers is a horse racing event held in far western Queensland, Australia. See attached. Please note the flight travel time of 5h40minutes or drive time of more than 22 hours. (The rough equivalent of driving from Downtown Philadelphia to Amarillo, Texas. More than half of which would be on unsealed roads.)
