Thumbs up Great Service Experience (Radiator Replacement)

Figured we always hear about the bad service experiences, so I figured I would post a good one to let people know that they DO EXIST :

I had a noticeable smell of radiator fluid outside on the drivers side of the engine bay for the past month or so after driving. Never found a noticeable leak or tell tale spots on the ground but the reservoir was slowly going down (so slowly that I thought I was making it up). I stopped by the dealership last week and they noticed the smell too but thought it might be road de-icer splashing up on the radiator. They cleaned everything up really well and said to bring it back in if I still noticed the smell. Right away I could tell that that wasn't the problem. I still had the smell. Now I was starting to smell it in the vehicle at startup.

Fast forward to yesterday (12/29). I called the service manager up and told him about my concern. He told me to bring it in that afternoon and they would take a look at it. I dropped it off at 12:30pm. The service manager brought out a tech to check the smell for himself. He took it back to pressure test the system and they hooked me up with a rental. I figured that this was going to be a fairly lengthy fix and that I better start getting comfortable in the rental but to my surprise I got a call at 4:00pm telling me that it was in fact a radiator leak (failed the pressure test) and that they would have it replaced and ready to go by 5:00pm.

They completed an outstanding recall (visor clip), 2 TSB's, and replaced a radiator in less than 4 hours without an appointment. Quickest service experience ever. I also like how they check for TSB's automatically now instead of me having to describe the symptoms. I didn't even know I had any outstanding until they told me.

They've definitely been stepping up their game lately.

I've got to ask, as I am originally from Omaha; which dealer did you go to? Seems like you received the treatment we all expect!

Hopefully I get the same great service you got when the dealership replaces my radiator this coming Tuesday (1/6). My 2014 Overland V6 4x4 only has 10,000 miles on it!
