Grinding/rubbing feeling in the front end?

Hey all-

Just got back from an 800 mile round trip (will post a report on that later), I think I feel some rubbing or grinding in the front end now, almost feels like a brake dragging or perhaps a wheel bearing or something...very subtle, you can feel it in the steering wheel and through the pedals. Any thoughts?

My first thought was CV boots, but I don't seem to have any grease...

I have the same "feeling" in my steering wheel. Did you find out what it is? I will have my dealership inspect mine at the next appointment. Mine doesn't have any leaks around CV boots so it's not that.

Not yet. Still have it too. No leaking around my CV boots either. I'm out of town but will put it in when I get back and see.

Re: Grinding/rubbing feeling in the front end?

I have had that feeling since the cv boot failed on the driver's side and he subsequent repair (replacing the axle on that side). 4 visits to the dealership since have not corrected the issue. First they thought it was the grease that spilled out from the cv joint which got on the brake components, but cleaning them and reassembling fixed nothing, now they say they can't reproduce the issue. They replaced pads and rotors on the last attempt but the rubbing is still there.
