Headlight lens worn out

My headlight lenses have a lot of spots that won't come out, I guess from insects, rocks, etc. Do you know if one of those treatments for when they get yellowish would help their appearance? Any ideas?

Re: Headlight lens worn out

A plastic polish product like Meguiar's PlastX, will help clean them up. Though you probably wont remove pitting made by rock impacts.

Thanks I'll try that. My front bumper is a disaster as well.

Re: Headlight lens worn out

If really bad, use this kit:

http://www.amazon.com/3M-39008-Headl...0745240&sr=8-1

Medium bad, use this:

If just a few spots, use this:

Re: Headlight lens worn out

Try the least agressive approach first, which would just be a polish/cleaner abrasive. You shouldn't have to resort to sanding on 2011 headlights. After you get them fixed, I'd recommend a clear protection on them. I had mine done when I got the clear bra on the bumper/hood/fenders
