Re: Heated Seats ('15 Altitude) Question

On my overland high is too hot and low you can barely tell its on. I usually flip mine on high for a couple minutes then turn it down to low.

My high is very hot and I usually have to change it to low after a couple of minutes.

Re: Heated Seats ('15 Altitude) Question

mine get uncomfortably hot. I usually only use the low setting. Even my steering wheel can get kinda hot too.

You should bring it in to the dealer and while there ask them to show you another altitude on the lot to compare the temps.

Re: Heated Seats ('15 Altitude) Question

Also, keep in mind the clothes you're wearing. If you're all bundled up in winter attire, that's more that the seat heater has to get through to get to your back/rump. But if you have it on on a cooler spring morning and you're only wearing shorts and a hoodie, it'll feel a lot hotter.

Re: Heated Seats ('15 Altitude) Question

The temperature is definitively not as hot as the original Altitude I test drove or the Chrysler 200 I rented, not even close. I wonder what Chrysler would have to say if I give them a call and say the dealership said it was normal. I checked the harnesses under the seats and they seem to be OK. Hopefully they'll issue a TSB or something.

I would agree that there is definitely something wrong with some of our heated seats. My dealership is supposed to have 'heat module' on order and going to replace. I'll let you know if anything changes once it is in.
