Hi, brand new to the forums...tried searching but couldn't find anything..
Got a '14 GC Limited last month, and I've been messing with the heated seats. On the splash screen when I first start up, there's an option to turn the heaters on. I usually turn it to low. By the time the Uconnect finally boots up fully, it switches to High.
I've tried leaving them on after it switches, thinking maybe it'll switch back, but to no avail. Anyone else experiencing this?
Anyone know how to turn this feature off all together. My seat and steering wheel heat come on anytime it's below 40 degrees. I have unchecked the auto on comfort setting but they still come on. I don't want or need them on when I have the Jeep already warm and just shut the engine off for a minute to run inside of a store.
If I remember the manual correctly, settings are stored with the key fob, which may be associated with one of the two memory settings. Have you tried setting everything the way you want and then resetting the memory setting and the key fob?
I'm thinking that unless you do this the key fob will recall the settings it thinks are current, which may not be the ones you just set.
I'm making a big assumption, but I'm guessing that it's designed so you can loan the vehicle to someone else and let them drive it (and adjust it) but be able to reset everything to what you want when you get the vehicle back.
I found information on this feature on page 162+/-2 pages of the 2015 owner's manual. I'm guessing you may want to either unlink the RKE (remoter keyless entry transmitter) settings or update the settings and re-associate them with the RKE of your choice.
I just found a service bulletin addressing this very issue. Auto on comfort still coming on even after the customer unchecks the box, So it appears to be a software issue. Already have an appointment set to address this and a few other issues. Thanks for the replies.

Had the update done today and happy to report the heated seats and steering wheel now do not turn on when it's below 40 degrees unless I have the auto on comfort setting checked.
