Re: heated seats problem

Thanks, Emily. My 2015 High Altitude had heated and ventilated, perforated front seats, as do all Overland WK2 models. There are several High Altitude owners reporting the "not very hot" heated seats.

heated seats problem

+1 for my 2015.

With the lack of air flow (hvac set to floor only) and lack of heated seats, it's been one cold winter (high of 11 today) but my hands have never been warmer.

Here is another thread too...

Can you please provide a link? I see one which deals with the heated steering wheel but not the seats...

I see the subject only mentions steering wheel, but description does say:
"This bulletin involves updating the Comfort Seat and Wheel Module (CSWM) software for
the KL/UF vehicles or the Heated Seat Module (HSM) software for the
**W3**/WK/WD/LD/LA & LX vehicles."

I can certainly look further into the concern you are experiencing on your vehicle. We have different options for our seats, one is ventilated and one is not. Do you know if your seat is ventilated (Sales code CAJ)?

TSB: 08-041-15

This bulletin involves updating the Heated Seat Module (HSM) and replacing both front cushion, heater elements.

Re: heated seats problem

Some on here have had to actually replace the seat heating element.

I've double checked all of my connections and fuses. I'm pretty much convinced this is the same issue my 2002 Overland had where the heating element in the seat simply failed and needs to be repaired or replaced. On my O2 I removed the seat cover, found a small burn mark and broken wire, then repaired with via soldering in an extension wire.

The leather was easy to remove on the 02 I'm not sure it will be as easy on my 11.

Same issue here with a 2012 JGC. Hoping for a solution, I like the HS.
