Question Heated seats question

How warm do the seats get? My 2015 seats barely get warm. Is this normal or do I have an issue going on.

Thanks in advance!!!

Re: Heated seats question

I've noticed that mine in '15 Altitude seem to have an ' auto-on' function...

At start-up your screen shows you the option to turn on or off the heat function.
It will be 'on' if the outdoor temps are low, not sure how low.

Or you can choose the option from the main screen.....

If you are sure you have them on correctly then there might be an issue. I would check the function in the passenger seat as a comparison.....

I'm sure they are on. I have them both on high and they are barley warm. Both front seats are doing the same thing... the steering wheel gets nice and warm however.

Re: Heated seats question

With mine even low is too warm for me......
Sounds like there is an issue with the main relay.
Definately ask the service manager to check it out....

Does sound like somethings not right. Both seats in my 2015 function normally.

Re: Heated seats question

the seats on my '14 get very toasty.. I can't even leave mine on low for very long.. even my wife ("turn up the heat! it's cold in here!") finds them plenty warm..

Re: Heated seats question

Likewise - the seats and steering wheel get very toasty, only need them on a while to remove the chill and then turn them off.

Re: Heated seats question

I thought mine were not working when I tried to test them. I finally got it into cold weather and they do get very warm. It seems to relate to the outside temperature sensor. The manual mentions operation below 40 F (4.4 C).

It may not work when the Jeep is inside the garage where it is not cold enough. Otherwise it may be a trip to the dealer.

The reference to below 40F refers to the heated seats coming on if through your U-Connect settings you have the seats set to come on automatically during either a remote start or for all vehicle starts. Likewise, if the temp is above 80F then the ventilated seats come on.

Re: Heated seats question

There are a lot of people complaining about this with HAs. Must be a different supplier for the seat warmers and seat covers?
