Heater issues!

I have a 2014 Laredo that has had heater issues for months. When I turn on the heater it works fine for a little while then all of a sudden the drivers side goes ice cold and the passenger side is still heating. Doesn't matter if it's on sync mode or not. It really only does it in the 70-75 degree range. If I put it up around 80 degrees it stays hot on both sides. The dealer has put in a new control module and replaced the sensor on the dash and nothing has worked. They have even done a test on the actuators and said those are all functioning correctly. The weird thing is when it's acting up I can turn it up on high or turn it totally off for a bit and it works fine for a while then back to cold on drivers side. Now the dealer has no idea where to look next. Anyone heard of this or have an idea of where to look? Thanks.

Re: Heater issues!

There are TSB's out for this and similar problems. It's a software update. If your dealer was competent he would've been looking at them instead of randomly replacing parts.

Go to http://wk2jeeps.com/wk2_tsb.htm and look for the TSB.

I've looked through those tsbs also and the only one that looks like mine says export only. They done that one anyway.

Just picked my 2011 GC from the dealership for this exact same issue except my heat would not work at all on the drivers side and the rear. The dealer diagnosed it to be a calibration issue with the blend door. Was fixed in a bit over an hour, no part just the 1 hour labor charge. I talked with the Service shuttle guy who dropped me at the dealer and he said that he has talked to a lot of people with this problem.
