Help!! Electrical/Lighting issues

I apologize for double posting this under another topic but I really need it to catch people's attention in hope that someone with electrical knowledge specific to this wk2.

I am hoping someone can help me figure this one out because i have had no such luck

i have a 2014 JGC Summit and out of no where i lost the ability to be able to manually turn on any of the interior lights(map, dome, etc, vanity) by pushing the light button or flipping the vanity .
What makes this even more strange is that all of the lights do turn on when i slide the dimmer switch to the left of the steering wheel all the way up and they also all turn on when the doors are open like they are supposed to.
When i slide the dimmer switch up all the way to turn on all of the lights i can manually turn the rear passenger lights off and on but as soon as i turn off the lights via the dimmer wheel, i can no longer turn them on via light button. Also the mirror(vanity) lights do not turn on at all.
This is a major annoyance and i dont know what else to do. I have pulled the negative terminal off the battery to try and reset, checked fuses etc and no luck.
Not sure if this is related to the same problem above but it appears that the approach lights under the mirrors do not light up when i approach or open the doors, which they always used to

If anyone has encountered this or has an idea on how i can further troubleshoot this to find a fix it would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: forgot to mention that I have not had any trouble codes pop up

Re: Help!! Electrical/Lighting issues

Can someone do me a favor and test something out in there wk2? If the interior light wheel(to the left of the steering column) is turned all the way down so that the lights are all off including when the doors are open, if you press the map light or dome light button do the lights still turn on?

Re: Help!! Electrical/Lighting issues

Ok well that's not what I was hoping for because that's the only thing I could have narrowed it down to.

Regardless I really appreciate you checking that out for me.

Seriously, why haven't you taken it to your dealer?

Re: Help!! Electrical/Lighting issues

Because it's a pain and I need my car. Should be a simple fix with the ground location

Re: Help!! Electrical/Lighting issues

Nope going to have to take it in to the dealer soon anyways. It's really starting to get on my nerves. Especially with kids on a long night road trip. It's either all or none of the lights and that's not good with the little ones

Mines at the dealership now, just dropped it off this morning, I'll let you know what they find.

Good luck.

Re: Help!! Electrical/Lighting issues

I'm pretty sure it's a ground too, when I started it on Tuesday morning I noticed a little flicker in one of the map lights, tells me its probably a loose ground. Really irritates me that they are going to tear apart the inside of my beautiful new Jeep for a stupid loose ground connection! Anyway I guess the tech called in sick yesterday so no progress yet. You may want to check, I noticed in addition to the courtesy & map lights the footwell LED's, ambient LED, and rear door handle LED's are also out on mine, just to make sure its the same issue.

More updates to come.
