Question HELP! P2097 - Downstream Fuel Trim System 1 Rich

Help Please!!!
My car has visited in 3 service shops over 1 week, nobody diagnosed the problem.
Two diagnostics appeared on the computer:
P2097 - Downstream Fuel Trim System 1 Rich
P0131 - O2 sensor 1/1 circuit fail.
The service shop replaced one oxygen sensor and P0131 disappeared.
The first problem (P2097) though, could not be found.
Anybody has any experience?

Grand Cherokee 2011 Laredo-X 70anni. ~10,000 MILES.

Why 3 shops? The Jeeps diagnostics told them what to fix (O2 Bank 1/1).

Both problems concern the same bank 1/1 O2 sensor. Once replaced, both problems go away as one issue was causing the other.

P0131 - O2 sensor 1/1 circuit fail = Since the Jeep cannot determine the proper fuel mixture (14.7/1 Stoich) because of a bad O2 sensor it will default to a rich/safe mixture protecting your engine from damage.

P2097 - Caused from the failing/failed O2 sensor.

Re: HELP! P2097 - Downstream Fuel Trim System 1 Rich

I was getting similar codes on a WK2 when there was a downstream O2 sensor cross threaded all to hell from the factory... it required a new catalytic converter and downstream o2 sensor to repair... fixed that and no more problems.

Why 3 shops ? -
The first jeep shop reset the computer and the battery hoping it will not reappear.
Then went to the offical jeep garage, they replaced the O2 sensor, P2097 continued on, then they suggested to open the camshaft to replace things indise. something they quoted in about 2000 USD service. Then I took the car out to hear a third opinion, the car is still there for two days.

Angry Re: HELP! P2097 - Downstream Fuel Trim System 1 Rich

Again, after 2 months of silence and a replacemet of O2 sensor
Both engine codes:
P2097 - Downstream Fuel Trim System 1 Rich
P0131 - O2 sensor 1/1 circuit fail.
reappeared with a new code saying something like "misfire" (Thats what's i understood from the mechanic).
My entire car start vibrating at zero speed, and the yellow engine sign appears on the board. the feelig is that it almost shuts off the engine with unstable low RPM's.
I am on around 14000 miles 2011 3.6L Grand cherokee 70 anni.
Please help with similar cases.
