Was hoping someone could help me with some info. I just Had the tail lights and reflector lights on the rear of my 2014 summit tinted/painted professionally. They look amazing however each light has a fish eye in it at the same spot on each light. I was told by my body shop they can't help this as it's the actual light lens itself from the manufacturer. I am having quite a bit of work done outside of this on the truck. Lowered 22srt wheels, all chrome painted and ground effects that are gray painted to match the truck etc.
Hope u guys can tell me if my body shop is telling me the truth or not or is there a fix for this?
If the "fish eye" you refer to is on the side of the tail light, about 1/16" in diameter, all WK2's have it. It is a hole that does not go all the way through the lens. What it's purpose is, I have no clue.
