Re: HELP! Saddle finish wearing off.

Now owned it for 7 months... No wear at all. I did conditioned it twice with Lexol, mayba that helped.

Re: HELP! Saddle finish wearing off.

Wow this is the first time reading this post don't like the color. I cant believe people are having this ware trouble on their new CG regardless of the color saddle . Is the feel of the leather softer or thinner than beige or black leather. Must be made by a diffident Manufacturer? Hope they only have a bad batch and fix this problem..

Re: HELP! Saddle finish wearing off.

My drivers seat is wearing quite badly on the outer bolster. My Jeep is a 2012 Overland which I have had for eight months now. I have the black interior so it's not just the "saddle" seats which are wearing.
The dealership has called Chrysler about the problem but I haven't heard back yet. I plan to keep this Jeep for a couple of years so I'm concerned that even if they replace the seat bottom the problem will be the same a few months down the road.

Re: HELP! Saddle finish wearing off.

Hi Everyone,

My very first post on this great forum!

My 2012 Overland w/saddle interior is experiencing a different type of wear. The middle of the seats seems to stretch most likely from sliding in and out of the vehicle. Has anyone else experienced this? I'll try to post some pictures later.

Re: HELP! Saddle finish wearing off.

I too have this problem. If I treat it with Lexol, can I actually fix it? Or is it too late and I should go get the warranty to take care of it, then Lexol it? If I could fix it myself with Lexol I'd much rather do that. Hate going to Dealership
