Help with drivetrain noise! Please!

So i just recently lowered my GC Laredo with springs (about 1 inch front and 2 inches rear). I did the install myself and everything went fine. At one point it felt like the driver side drive shaft popped out, but it slipped straight back in with no problems.

At the same time I installed a set of Factory Reproductions Goliath replicas 20x10 on all four corners.

So, the first 100 miles or so i had no problems everything ran perfectly. Then i started to hear a clicking / light clunking noise at low speed, and hardly any throttle. It slowly got worse over the course of another 30 miles, so i stopped using the Jeep and tried to find the solution on here. Luckily there was a member who had a similar issue and turned out to be loose wheel nuts. So i went ahead and tightened them all up to 100 lbs/ft again as they had become slightly loose. At this point the noise went away, hurray!

Today, after another 50 miles I started to here the clicking noise again, so i torqued the wheels up to 130 lbs/ft. Again the noise went away but this time only for about 20 miles until the noise was back.

I've double checked all the wheels and all the nuts are on tight, and i don't want to go any higher than 130 lbs/ft as that's the factory recommended and i don't want to damage the wheels either.

Also,how much play should there be in the drivetrain? I know a little bit is normal, but how much is a little bit in this car?
I'm able to pull the front driveshafts in and out by about 0.5 - 1mm, and i can rotate the driveshaft about 1 - 2mm back and forth (measured from the top of the disc brake) before it engages the teeth in the gear and starts turning the opposite wheel.

Any body here able to give me a hand? It's my only car and i can't live without it.

is the sound rotational? as in does the clicking get faster with speed? is it worse while taking turns? did you make sure the dust shields aren't touching anything?

did you remove the lock washers for your rotors,before you put on new wheels? if you didn't you should.the new wheels may not seat like the old ones and that is why you have keep tightening the lugs.

Yes it definitely gets faster with speed, and yes, it's a bit worse when on full lock. Small steering inputs don't seem to make much difference, but full lock definitely does.
I double checked everything this weekend, and everything seems tight, and h
The dust boots don't seem to be touching anything as they still look intact.

I was actually going to swap out to my old wheels just in case it was something that stupid, but I definitely think it's drivetrain related.

The new wheels have a taper on the bore that gives plenty of clearance for the washer, so I don't think the problem is there. I'm going to swap out to my OEM wheels anyway just to be sure.

so when you swapped back to the OEM wheels nothing changed?

did you inspect your drive axels or sway bar endlnks?

Did you push back the metal dust shielding from behind the rotor? *not the dust boots*
