Re: HEMI hestitated and "shook" during W.O.T.

Looks like it is something we have to live with for now. I'm just happy that it only happens when I floor it, not cruising around between 40-60 like it appears some other people have. Took my first long road trip this weekend, 500 miles round trip and the truck drove great. My one compaliant and maybe it is because I had it in sport mode when you are going about 70 or so and you give it about quarter throttle it seems to really rev quick and down shift, almost reacts like you are flooring it. I didn't notice it so much in Auto mode but auto seemed to be hunting for the right gear a lot around 60 or so.

I guess I am just used to my 01 4Runner with a 4 speed which didn't have as many gears or even close to the power. The Cherokee ride blows it out of the water on the road, have not tried it offroad, the 4Runner was a beast. Overall, very happy with the ride besides the shake when you floor it. I wish you could select 2wd though.

Just experienced this today. Going up incline, wot @ 45.... hesitation then shaking until it found the right gear to drop down. Ugh. Guess I'll wait and see.

Re: HEMI hestitated and "shook" during W.O.T.

The dealer tells me that this is bushings on the axle (maybe the front axle isolator??). I don't have the paperwork yet as I picked the car up after hours. They said the parts are on backorder. I am going to call tomorrow and have them e-mail me the paperwork. I will report back when I know more.
