How do you unlock the door manually?

The owner's manual says "The power door locks can be manually locked or unlocked from inside the vehicle by using the door lock knob." Oh yeah? When the knob is in the lock position, I can't get a grip on it. If I'm in a locked car and the power completely fails, it looks like the only way out is to crawl into a back seat, where the door lock knobs ride higher.

Has anybody pulled a front door lock knob up by hand?

I just went out and tried. No way for me to pull the front knobs up.

Try using the door handle to open the door! Works like magic, even when the door is locked. With no power. What'll they come up with next?

I dunno, but they are going to have a very hard time topping the door handle idea!

I don't know what you do for a living but if your not a stand up comic or writing for TV you missed your true calling.
