Re: How is Your High Mileage WK2 Holding Up?

I have 60k on mine and it was nothing but trouble for the first 40k miles. The problems are too numerous to mention. After this Jeep is done, I'm going back to Chevy.

2014 3.6 4x4 Limited with 57,000 miles, purchased with 36k. Put on 20k miles on her. Trouble free since i got it. Kept up with regular maintenance items. In cabin air filter, fluids, oil changes. No problems. Love'n it so far. Fingers crossed this last me another 200k.

Re: How is Your High Mileage WK2 Holding Up?

I have 62m on my 13 JGC Ltd. The pano roof noise was fixed by Dealer, had a few bad tires that came with the car when new that gave me trouble with vibration. Got rid of them, 35m later still smooth as glass. The day time driving lights kept blowing out. Would only last for 3-4 weeks. Replaced 3 sets, (Westinghouse and Sylvania). Then bought some heavy duty Wagner bulbs and its been 4 MONTHS now and still going strong. This past January we drove down to Florida. Coming back a stone damaged the A/C condenser. We lost the A/C. Dealer replaced the condenser and put in new refrigerant at a no charge under the warranty. The GPS map update is really blowing my mind. Other than that I certainly can't complain. I can't blame the tires, light bulbs, and stone damage on Jeep. I enjoy driving it and hope to for at least 3 more years. Its a good vehicle. With all the bad reviews lately and all the problems with the 14's and 15's I read off this Jeep forum site, I don't know if I want to buy another one. Hopefully in 3 years those problems will have been solved and I will be able to consider another Jeep GC.

Re: How is Your High Mileage WK2 Holding Up?

at 90k miles I have the most annoying squeak coming from something around the firewall!

Other than that my Quadralift, 4x4, Hemi runs like a champ. I will be doing brakes shortly as they are starting to pulsate pretty hard on heavy braking.

How is Your High Mileage WK2 Holding Up?

Just crossed 50k mi this week on my 14 Overland 4x4 Hemi with a build date of January 2014. I've only been driving it the past 10k miles, it was my sister's. She had only one issue (not a problem). After she got it serviced, they did some update that disabled the DRLs and the automatic brights. She took it back and they were able to fix it.

Other than that, zero issues. Not even a rattle. Kinda crazy huh

Re: How is Your High Mileage WK2 Holding Up?

This week I'm getting my transmission replaced at 72,000, my second after the first died at 33,000.

Had all the recalls, brake booster, visor, and fuel switch still outstanding.
Struts of hatch replaced, new 730N GPS head unit replaced, and I had the infamous valve head CEL and repair.

Piece of shit even in low mileage.

Ive had lots of issues. All listed in my thread Lots of Problems

I strongly recommend against buying a WK2. They look great and drive nicely, but my 2011 is falling apart. 2011 was the first year for the WK2 - Ive found that a good rule of thumb is the first year for any new body style is usually the least reliable. Regardless, Ive had so many issues with mine that Im completely turned off from ever buying anything Fiat Chrysler.

Mine has 60K on it by the way.

Re: How is Your High Mileage WK2 Holding Up?

Gotta lift this thread up a bit. I'm also interested in hearing the miles people are putting on their vehicles. I drive a lot, about 33k/year.
Bought in Dec. '15 with 54k miles.
93k on my 2012 V6 Laredo X. No Issues so far. Need to change spark plugs at 96k as per manual. Coming up to the 104k interval when I will have the trans fluid, coolant, axle/transfer case fluids, etc. replaced as per the manual. I think the trans fluid is due at 120k in the manual, but whatever. So far, so good!

Re: How is Your High Mileage WK2 Holding Up?

Why not... I'll bite.

I have 137k on the clock. Targeting 200k without a 'major' issue, and will maintain as such.

Issues thus far:

QL-Suspension compressor replaced.
routine maintenance items (brakes once, tires twice, wiper blades a few times, light bulbs etc)
Rear wiper motor replaced
Rear eLSD motor replaced
Water pump replaced
Radiator replaced
HID head light bulbs replaced

There is a suspension related squeak that is starting to drive me nutty in the rear cargo area that could be related to the rear sway-bar bushings but I will live with that for the time being.
