How remove door edge trim / Need part number

Hello all,

We have a broken plastic clip that holds the plastic bumper molding along the edge of the rear door around the wheel arch.

1. How is this piece removed?
2. Anyone have a part number for the orange plastic clips inside?

Thanks!
canis

Re: How remove door edge trim / Need part number

I broke mine off awhile back and had to order replacements from Car-Pak.com. The part# on their site is 99-8838. The part number on the box is 11562250. I believe it was $20 for a box of them with shipping.

To remove it, just slide the entire piece downwards. Putting it on is a little tough because it must be slid upwards for the top clip, but since its broken you wont need to worry about that until install time.

Thank you kindly. It removed just as you said. I got the clip from the dealership ($0.71), along with a few extras just in case.
