How's your 2014 since the recall repair?

I am one of the owners of the early 2014 models. I got rid of it after three months of ownership due to the problems and bought an X5 instead. But I was wondering if the recalls have fixed your problems that the recalls were intend for. Not sure if the recalls were part of the uconnect system as well but mine was also a mess. Basically, my 2014 was a disaster bumper to bumper but they really are beautiful and I would hold out for a 2015 if you think that would make a difference. Thanks in advance.

Only recall I was subject to was the evic blacking out. Hasn't happened since the flash so I can only assume it's good now. Happy camper since last sept.

how did you get rid of it?? lol
mine is still a mess.. and the only recall has been the possible dashboard black out. The rest are just "service bulletins"

The only recall is the flash and DOH! tightening of the ground bolt.
I'll be getting the flash next week just to cross my name off the list.

The tightening of the ground bolt would be something any tech with a pulse would do, and it cured mine--haven't lost the display for 16.5K miles now.

There's another recall announced for the brake system, but so far no actual recall issued. That one made a bigger splash, but now that GM and their notoriously crappy ignition keys is hogging all the press time, seems to almost have disappeared from view.
