Re: Humm in front end... Known problem but no solution according to Chrysler

Hi,

I have the 2011 Overland with 20" Goodyears at 18,000 km.

I have noticed vibration through the steering wheel at usually lower speeds. I don't hear it, but feel it. Worse, it's not constant.

I'll keep a bit of an eye out for it. If this is a problem known to Chrysler, I wonder how my non-warrantee status works, since I bought in the States and imported.

An update 5-23
Chrysler found a bad bearing in the front right. They're replacing the bearing and an the entire front axle. They said the bearings are on back order which makes me believe it's a widely know problem.

Good to know...I'm thinking this is my issue as well. I'm now noticing it at lower speeds when on smooth roads while in "N".

Please let us know if it takes care of it.

The service ticket said "replaced right front wheel bearing and right front axle". The problem has been fixed.
