Re: Humming Noise when over 35mph

Greetings,

Glad that Chrysler did the right thing for you.

Around 20k my 2011 JGC had a similar problem with 2 bearing on the front right side. Warranty covered the repair and the dealer got me a rental car until the repair was done. At that time their was backorder for wheeling bearings.

The service rep, who has dealt with Chrysler for ages told me that once in blue moon the wheel bearings go. He believes that a batch gets past quality control and that is why he has seen this problem over the years.

If this happens to me again out of warranty, then I will have pay.

Best for now.

Re: Humming Noise when over 35mph

So I picked up my jeep yesterday and finally the horrible sounds is gone. What's even better is that when I visited the cashier at the dealer to pay out my $200 deductible for the repair, they told me that Chrysler decided to pay for the full repair. I was very happy about that and even more appreciative to those who gave me the idea of calling Chrysler in the first place.
