I read the original OP as focused not on the product but the service provided by FCA in acknowledging and fixing the problems. It was not meant to be Porche Vs. JEEP/FCA.
I read it as he has a 911 and a Jeep. The Porsche did not run blame and hide when problems arise but rather acknowledged and corrected unlike Jeep/FCA. So yes I joke as it is what I am limited too and yes the purchase of anything is a risk. The service received should not have been. But honestly what do I know. Maybe I read it all wrong.
Exactly!! If FCA would have stepped up to the plate and made this a less painful process then our feeling towards FCA would be 100% different. No one is perfect but it is what you do after that fact that matters. All FCA, IGA, and River Oak Jeep did was break promises and drag their feet.

Its apples and oranges. You cannot expect FCA to perform at the same level as Porsche, at any level.

I am sorry about your lack of understanding. I am not here to educate you, and I doubt you will understand anything but anyway.

Your 50K GC (not talking SRT) is top of the line and fully loaded. Porsche's cheapest and basic 911 is over 80k. Then compare the dealership and maintenance expenses and think why all luxury brands offer you loaners? Because, they cost for those loaners are billed into your maintenance cost. You just don't see it but you pay 2600 for timing belt change (I know I paid for my Audi)

Btw, tell me if Ford and GM treats you any better than FCA? I have been to those forums too and most people complains about them too.

It comes down to your expectations, how good your local dealership is, and how helpful your service advisor is to get help from manufacturer.

So, two things will happen for sure. A.) You refuse to understand this logic and argument. B.) FCA will continue to keep treating us like they always had.

Oh...and this is what it is. I know I am not driving a Porsche, and I don't expect to be treated like one either. You want to be treated like one...spend more money.

Apples and oranges.

Re: I am Out of Here

This thread keeps throwing out "50k+ SUV" as if to signify that is some rarity. While that is a ton of money, it is not an unusual thing in today's market. Some examples of similarly priced vehicles:
Ford F150 platinum - $52,150 starting price
Ford Explorer platinum - $53,235 starting price
GMC Acadia Denali - $48,815 starting price
Hyundai Equus - $61,500 starting price
Toyota Sequoia - $44,950 starting price
Toyota Land Cruiser - $83,825 starting price

So again, not trying to lessen how much money these are, but they are pretty squarely in the pricing mix for ford/chevy/toyota/hyundai offerings.

Re: I am Out of Here

Look I hear you but honestly it is not about who is worse. It is about doing the right thing. Stop the excuses. They are Bad if your experience is not then I am happy for you. My JGC is in the shop again 15th TIME! listen truth is your right, I have given it some thought. What are people thinking they go purchase a vehicle and expect it to work. I also agree the original OP should have never went to Porsche. What was he thinking and me agreeing with him just horrible. I apologize.
