Ok ! Whether it is a " software "
Issue or not , I believe it s unacceptable. I bought a jeep GC 2014 LTD ( fully loaded) because I' ve read the reviews, tried it, and did my homework and liked it. But now being the owner of this car , I can tell you with NO RESTRICTION, this is the shittiest , most horrible experience I have had so far !!!! Ok , I could admit
I got a lemon, but overall everything is just wrong . You guys crack me up when I read and understand " it s ok to have rough transmission ".... No it is not ok !!!! Chrysler is just wrong. Every single time I need to stop , I can t predict the way my car will react ! Is that fcking normal ?????!!!! I ll let you be the judge !!!
. I have posted earlier about
this car and the more I drive it , the more I realize everything is cheaply made, poor quality , and this SUV is just beyond deceiving.

Re: If your 8spd trans is rough, put your hand up

King,

Is it the transmission that convinced you that the whole car is no good, or are you having other problems?

Dorks aside Jeep needs to acknowledge the issue and identify a solution. From what I have read so far the problem is still so "small" they are not doing anything about it.

Forget dealers. How can anything be solved until jeep, not the dealers, acknowledge the issue, work on the issue, and solve the issue solve?
If you duplicate a problem that can not be duplicated in a new vehicle, the dealer will repair the transmission. As to how Jeep will tell them. There have been transmission replaced due to problems but they are not all the same issue so what do you want Jeep to publish?

Indeed I am having a lot more problems....but I just find it ridiculous when I read that you need to unplug your battery or remove fuse f60... It might work , but do believe it s an acceptable solution for a 50k car ???? Not !!! It s plain ridiculous , sorry....

Re: If your 8spd trans is rough, put your hand up

You V8 guys dont have a clue how bad this Tranny problem is. A frickin Nightmare every day I drive it. Lunges forward really bad in the morning , slams 1-2 and 2-1 when you stop. This is supposed to be "The Best We Are Made Of "Lol My transmission is the Tazmanian Devil

It is ridiculous, but if it solves your problem in less time than it takes to complain about it, isn't it ridiculous not to give it a try? It doesn't matter how much the car costs.

Ok....
Vibration on highway ( yes 20 inch wheels)
Rough transmission .
Doors are not adjusted perfectly therefore paint is chipped.
Tailgate misaligned.
Roof is misaligned and lots of rattles.
Broken and misaligned inside plastics.
Unresponsive key remote at times.
Misaligned rear bumper.
Plastic seals around windows aren't properly installed , therefore useless.
And lots more stuff

Re: If your 8spd trans is rough, put your hand up

Trans has been thumping since it had 300 miles on it and continues to get worse and worse. I cannot believe the check engine light has not came on or when I start the car in the morning I dont see a pudfle of trans fluid on the garage. One dealer reported is was working at a neg 10 when normal is positive 10. But yet there is nothing wrong with it..
