In my case the answer is no. The dealership lied to me. FYI I took delivery of my ordered
2014 GC Limited V6 4x4 April 21st, 2013
. I waited 7 weeks for it, so I'm estimating a build date of early March.
The long and short of things was I was told my vehicle had all the updates it needed (supposedly the dealership ran my VIN number in their computer that I told them over the phone
), even though the TSBs I brought up at the time had dates listed a month or more after
. And as for the TSB for the radio reflash, they told me they were waiting for the CD to arrive since their computer kept crashing trying to perform it on other vehicles because the file was too large.
And as proof the dealership lied to me, TSB 24-002-13 dated Sep 05, which the dealership said I already have...in fact I do not since the climate system still turns off after remote starting the vehicle when I open the drivers door.
I've been more than patient with these jokers where I bought my 2014 GC Limited from, and very soon I will be giving them their last chance to fix everything before I file an official complaint with Chrysler.
Here is the list of TSBs/recalls I will be asking for them to fix:
24-002-13 (HVAC) Sep 05, 2013
08-089-13 (Poor Satellite Reception) Dec 03, 2013
08-049-13 REV. G (Radio Date) Dec 13, 2013 (currently I'm on version 13.19)
21-007-13 REV. C (Transmission) Dec 18, 2013 Version "D" now?
The last tranny reflash I had was in September
Safety Recall (N58 / NHTSA 13V-483) Received in December, 2013
