Interior Lighting Issue- Pulsing
So I recently had to get my sunroof serviced. I had water coming out of the sunglass holder. The dealer tells me that the drains are clogged. I have them clear them. Great. That was 2 days ago. Last night I was driving down the highway and noticed that the lights that illuminate the gear shifter and "gear numbers" was pulsing. I can't tell if its at normal brightness and dimming down or normal and dimming up, either way, it stays on and just gets brighter and dimmer. I then think this is weird and continue looking around and i notice that the lights in my upper center section (where the sunglass holder is) is doing the same thing, but up there my map and reading lights didn't appear to work when I tried to turn them on. Finally i was able to get the map light (when you push the actual lens, not the button) to come on and it was extremely dim and pulsing. My sun roof buttons do work though. Finally I thought maybe it was just a bug or something so I decided to adjust the overall brightness with the lever by the headlight switch. Everything raised and lowered, but continued doing its pulsing while i adjusted and the area with the headlight switch was also pulsing. I see no issues on my gauge cluster or my nav system or door switches. And the really weird part is that when i open my door the map and reading lights come on. but one set of lamps has a strange color temp.
I was wondering if this is a symptom of a bad reading lamp, or water damage (but if it was water damage why would it showup at the headlight switch too?) or maybe loose connection from something done with they cleaned my sunroof drains.
