Interior Rearview Mirror ??

It's a 2011 Laredo X, been a blast to own minus the "normal" Jeep crap. My interior rearview mirror is default set to auto day/night 'On'. At night before turning it off, anything except for headlights are nearly invisible when combined with my tint. Is there anyway to switch the default setting to off without me having to press the button every time I get in the jeep? I'd also like to know if others are set to the on position as default?
Thank you

Re: Interior Rearview Mirror ??

I appreciate the knowledge, I'm at least thankful for the switch, without it I'd be pulling fuses. I simply find the feature too slow to react and significantly dangerous in comparison to a small distraction of glare. the guy fast approaching on the side of the one behind me who has baller HIDs. All I see are two muted headlights then baller #2 shows up going 95 on my side, I'd have had him hundreds of yards back with a basic mirror but instead it's useless... And when I say tint, it's the OE tint on the tail.
