Exactly!
Follow the instructions in the jeepgarage link.
What map version did you buy from Garmin?
I'm running 2014.40
I've been doing updates for over a year since I found the second link I posted.

Just got the maps last week so yea, it is 2014 version. Now, since I am not technologically inclined, (and yea, I started to read through the other forum thread as well but so much technical jargon), is there a how to guide for idiots?

Re: IOD fuse and NAV update issues

There's a lot of extra stuff there. Most of the info is for upgrading the maps. Since u have the disc, you only need to burn a 33 disc and a 50 disc. (From the first link)

Re: IOD fuse and NAV update issues

Chunderboy- lots more information in this thread-
New (Aug 9, 2013) Software Update MyGIG RBZ-RHB 50.00.07

Download the 33 software from Sox's website:
MyDrive - Ihr Schweizer Online-Speicher
username: mygig@soxag
Password: gasolio

Burn the iso to a cd, don't try via usb

Nubby: I have been following that thread for a while on wrangler forum, not going to spend 150 for maybe outdated maps, would gladly spend it for lifetime updates. Are you doing updates to a 430n? I may have to pm you for help if you don't mind...

I do have a 430n on my 2011. I'm also on the wrangler forum just for this topic.
Feel free to reach out

Re: IOD fuse and NAV update issues

Thanks guys. So, just to reiterate, burn the iso to a disk, then run the disk in my RHB and that should downgrade the software to 33. Then install the 2014 maps?

Shit nubby, if you're in north Jersey (essex county here), what are the chances of you helping a brother out over a lunch or something...

Big ups to nubby for helping me update my maps.. Big big ups!

Now, I updated the maps to 2014, but in the settings, it says 2013 North American... Does anyone else's say that?
