Perform the update yourself using this manual
http://www.wranglerforum.com/f33/201...-88954-12.html
This is the TSB 08-036-11.
If it won't help, ask your dealer to update using TSB 08-036-11 Rev.A

I did the same 30 minutes ago - worked for me, no chipmunks anymore)))

Re: IPhone songs sound like the chipmunks

I was just trying to hook up my Xoom tablet via bluetooth to the Jeep. It links up and plays music, not fast forward, but it sounds like garbage. Like when your talking on the phone, how the sound isn't music quality (still good though), I get that same type of sound out of the speakers when bluetoothed. The highs distort and their is no bass....It seems like it isn't fully connecting

Someone said bluetooth technology will always sound horrible. Not at all! I use my tab with a bluetooth adapter into my home stereo and it sounds just like it is supposed to. There is no reason it should sound like crap in this car. Is there a TSB on this? The other one in this link seems to only be for fastforward sounds...

Also, if I plug the tab or an MP3 into the USB in the center console, nothing happens. On the screen, there is only spots to click for the bluetooth items and the Radio Front Aux. Seems odd that I can't plug a usb into the front of the radio or center stack and play music into the radio. Any ideas on any of this? I am hoping it is a simple fix or something I missed

Low quality of bluetooth streaming will be fixed in next handsfree module (HFM) version.

Just for grins, I tried Bluetooth streaming from my non-smartphone and I noticed that I had to turn up the volume...is this typical?
